With over 45 years of dedicated study and practice in music, I have honed my skills as a music well-being specialist. For the past two decades, I have been providing transformative music sessions for my care clients, fostering healing and connection through sound. Currently, I am completing another qualification in Music Therapy Studies to further enhance my expertise in this field.
Music sessions can be a powerful tool for improving your well-being. A music specialist can design sessions tailored to you, using music to help you relax, manage stress, or even improve communication. Whether you listen to music, create it yourself, or engage in discussions about music, music can be a way to tap into your emotions and promote positive change.
Music well-being sessions can be customized to fit your schedule and preferences. You can choose online therapy from the comfort of your own home, or in-person sessions one-on-one or in a group setting in the Lancashire area. Daytime, evening, and one-off sessions are available, or you can choose a package tailored to your specific needs.
Music wellness sessions are designed to fit your needs. I offer sessions ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour, and I will discuss the ideal length during your initial consultation to ensure a personalized and effective experience.
Music wellness sessions offer a wide range of creative avenues to explore. You can delve into the power of music through listening, singing, or even songwriting. The sessions can also involve re-imagining familiar pieces, using music to induce relaxation, or incorporating movement and art therapy for a truly holistic experience. Because music speaks a universal language, these sessions are entirely non-confrontational, making them a gentle and accessible approach to improving your well-being.
Music wellness sessions aren't a one-size-fits-all approach, but a powerful tool that can benefit a wide range of people. Whether you're facing challenges with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, or even ADHD and Autism, music can provide a unique pathway to improvement. It can also be helpful for managing depression, anxiety caused by conditions like strokes, or simply reducing everyday stress.
